Lettie's Favorites
Waiter corkscrew There isn't a better corkscrew than Laguiole's, in my opinion. It looks right, feels right and is easy to use. Mine has a faux-horn finish and was made to last ($50; wineenthusiast.com).
Foil cutter The only thing wrong with my Laguiole is that it lacks a foil cutter. Screwpull makes the best ($8; amazon.com).
Wine carrier I adore my classy handmade leather-trimmed bag from the classy company Mulholland Brothers. I've had it for years and it still looks new. And it can hold just about anything—not only wine (two-bottle bags start at $255; mulhollandbrothers.com).
Her Friends' Favorites
Wine-slogan aprons F&W test-kitchen goddesses Marcia Kiesel and Grace Parisi love the whimsy of the ones from Funny Aprons ($22; funnyaprons.com).
Wine tie Wild Ties sells a shiny wine-label tie made of cheap silk, but my friend Peter professes to love it ($20; wildties.com).
Wine charms My friend Kathy would love to decorate her wineglasses with shoe trinkets from That Wine Is Mine ($15 for a set of six; thatwineismine.com).
Wine bag My sister the textile designer thought the red-fringed flapper bag from True Fabrications was a perfect party "outfit" for her wine ($7; truefabric.com).
