Robert Keenan Winery
Up 1,700 feet on Spring Mountain, this facility used turn-of-the-century stones from the previous tenant to rebuild a structure reminiscent of an English country cottage. The winery seems like it has lived two lives: successful in the 1980s, followed by a time of unpopularity, and finally a resurgence with controls handed over to Robert’s son Michael Keenan. Guests can make appointments to taste seven days a week, with space for up to 60 people in their wood-floored dining room. A garden with views of the vineyards and pond is set with picnic tables for visitors to enjoy lunch before and after tastings.
