Surrounded by two lakes and mountains blanketed with sequoia trees, this organic vineyard is situated on a 1.9-acre parcel of land that was once part of the Aetna Springs Resort, a popular vacation destination in the late 19th century. Established by Trent Ghiringhelli in 2000, the vineyard specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah varietals and produces about 300 cases of wine annually. Providing some of the most hands-on guided tours in the valley, Trent personally drives visitors around the estate in his aqua-colored convertible Jeep Wrangler before serving a picnic of cured meats, cheeses, and Heibel Ranch wines.
