Set on a hillside in the Russian River Valley, Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery was launched in 1982 and now produces mostly Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc. A rotating selection of five wines is served in the tasting room, which has huge picture windows overlooking the valley and a grove of ancient redwood trees. The winery also provides fireside tastings, outdoor tastings on the terrace, and behind-the-scenes tours of the facilities, including the fermentation and barrel rooms.
