Part wine bar and part winery, City Winery was founded by Michael Dorf, also responsible for New York’s famous Knitting Factory, as a space that would combine his love of both wine and music. A truly unique Manhattan venue, City Winery hosts wine-themed events, such as tastings, and also houses a full stage for musical acts, as well as a full restaurant and bar serving Mediterranean cuisine. Perhaps the most unique offering at City Winery is its Build-a-Barrel program, which allows customers to create their own bottles of wine.
