Zion Bus Line takes passengers on a musical journey to the place where Bob Marley, Jamaica's most famous native son, was born and raised: the village of Nine Mile in the highlands. A tricked-out old jitney (called a country bus on the island) covered in Rastafarian colors outside and memorabilia inside ferries guests to the promised land. The five-hour trip winds into the rugged mountains above the north coast as reggae plays and guides tell Marley tales. At Nine Mile, passengers can pay homage at the modest clapboard house where the reggae superstar was born, as well as his tomb on the side of Mount Zion.
