Duk Ling Harbor Sail

Pier Number 9, Central , Kowloon Public Pier, Tsim Sha Tsui
Hong Kong

Perhaps the best way to see the city is aboard a small traditional sailing junk in Victoria Harbour. And it only costs about $6.40, thanks to the Hong Kong Tourism Board. The boat, staffed by a cheery crew of weather-beaten salts, makes gentle two-hour trips twice on Thursday afternoons, and twice more on Saturday. (You can board on the Hong Kong side and alight in Tsim Sha Tsui, or vice versa.) Don't forget your camera: the watery vantage point means you'll be treated to some of the best skyline views in the city.

Insider's Tip: Book your spot as soon as you arrive in Hong Kong—the boat is small and the sails very popular.
