The largest skating instruction company in Europe, Citiskate organizes private and group rollerblading courses, as well as free weekly skating events. All classes include skate rentals and take place inside various sports centers, or outside in Hyde, Kensington, and Battersea parks. The company also hosts three major rollerblading events each week: the two-mile Easy Peasy Skate, which follows a flat, traffic-free route in Battersea Park every Saturday morning; the six- to eight-mile Roller Stroll, held on Sunday afternoon in Hyde Park; and the relatively challenging Friday Night Skate, which covers 12-plus miles at an average of 32 mph.
