The thrill factor is in full effect at this park—with attractions like Disaster (which simulates an 8.0-scale earthquake), Revenge of the Mummy (an indoor coaster that wheels past grasping monsters), and Jaws (a boat ride interrupted by the relentless attacks of…well, you know). Too-cool-for-school kids (and their folks) will get a kick out of the whimsical ride based on The Simpsons. In the works for 2009 is the Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit roller coaster, which will include a massive 168-foot loop, and will let guests customize their plunging roller-coaster ride with rock music of their choice.

Tip: If the forecast calls for steady rain, come here: queues, most attractions, and the parking area are all sheltered.
