Cooper Wellness Program
Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper, who pioneered preventive medicine and literally coined the term "aerobics," created the home base for his Wellness Program inside this 30-acre facility in 1985. Since then he and his staff of nutritionists and physicians have been helping clients achieve a healthier, more well-balanced life through two- and six-day programs. As part of the comprehensive six-day program, participants take exercise classes inside the 40,000-square-foot fitness center; attend health and food lectures, as well as cooking classes; and meet with both a degreed-certified personal trainer and a registered dietician.
