Located about 30 minutes south of downtown Glenwood Springs, this ski area has 67 trails spanning approximately 500 acres of the White River National Forest. Aspen trees cover much of the terrain, and in addition to intermediate-level trails, the resort also has beginner trails, such as the 2½-mile Ute, and advanced trails like the Heathen, one of the steepest runs in Colorado. In addition, the property includes snowmobile opportunities, a restaurant, a rental and retail shop, and a ski school with programs for both adults and children. A fee-based shuttle provides transportation to and from most nearby hotels.
