Italy’s vast mosaic of grape varieties and winemaking styles have long been the inspiration behind Vino, which opened in 2000 after the success of jointly owned restaurant I Trulli across the street. Not neglecting a single corner of the Italian peninsula, the shop has everything from Valentini’s Montepulciano from Abruzzo to Fantinel’s Prosecco to Friuli-Venezia Giulia. No longer selling only Italian wines, the spacious store has expanded to include a wide selection from all over the globe. Free tastings are held every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, while classes are held less frequently.
