Often called the "Japanese Gap," Uniqlo is a fashion retailer specializing in casual, affordable clothing for men, women, and children. While the company has more than 700 stores in Japan (and others worldwide), this flagship Ginza location is its biggest and flashiest. The seven-story façade is composed of 1,000 lighted squares that can be altered to create different patterns around the four-story-tall store logo. Inside, the nearly 54,000-square-foot shop contains polo shirts, T-shirts, khakis, hooded jackets, and other low-cost garments. In addition to its already affordable prices, Uniqlo is also known for its frequent buy one, get one free sales.
