Home baker turned professional pastry chef Cindy Levine opened this Lincoln Park sweet shop in 2002. Located on Webster Avenue, the bakery's exterior is marked by a yellow and white striped awning and a stained glass cupcake surrounded by pastel color blocks. Inside, where white letters spell out the word “yum” on a polka-dotted wall, patrons settle into bright purple booths or soda shop-style chairs to snack on homemade baked goods. Featured on the Food Network, the shop is famous for specialties like the peanut butter Rice Krispie treat and red velvet cupcake topped with cream cheese icing.
