Sunday UpMarket
Located in the 17th-century Old Truman Brewery, the Sunday UpMarket features more than 140 stalls selling everything from clothing and jewelry to arts and crafts. Established in 2004, the market is known as a platform for up-and-coming designers to showcase unusual bespoke items, including customized garments, Italian leather handbags, unique T-shirts, greeting cards, art prints, and home accessories such as lampshades made with recycled materials. The market also has a wide array of ethnic food stalls offering Ethiopian hand-roasted coffee, Spanish omelettes, hand-rolled sushi, Thai pumpkin curry, and Caribbean-style fried plantain sandwiches.
