Steve's Cheese

This tiny cheese counter serving up delicious artisanal cheeses and charcuterie has a well-deserved cult following. The pungent Nigerian Dwarf goat cheeses made by Rogue River's Pholia Farm make dairy connoisseurs swoon, as does the happily stinky Guapier (similar to French Morbier) produced at rural Washington's Estrella Family Creamery. The shop is tucked, appropriately, inside Square Deal Wine Company, which specializes in boutique vintages from around the world; both wine-shop and cheese-counter staffers can advise you on pairings.
