Round Pond actually refers to two places: a winery and an olive oil company on separate sides of the street. Founder Bob MacDonnell, who started producing olive oil and vinegars in the 1980’s, also grew Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and sold them to local wineries. Ryan and Miles–children of Bob–now run the company and added an Italian villa-inspired winery and hospitality center in 2007. Visitors can tour both facilities by appointment, as well as experience food pairings and multiple course meals with tastings.
