Minglement has been serving Vashon Island’s hale and hearty since 1974. Today the organic food emporium carries an array of local produce, heirloom grains and chocolates, wild-caught seafood, and naturally raised bison, not to mention natural remedies, essential oils, and gift items. It’s also a noted purveyor of organic teas and coffees. Located in a century-old building that houses a coffee roaster and museum, Minglement house-blends 350 different teas, including seasonal specialties, and the aromatic Girl Grey, with lavender petals, thistle seeds, and bergamot oil. House-roasted java is sold under its own Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie label.
