Originally established as a general store at the local train depot, the century-old Marshall Store is now an acclaimed oyster bar housed in a low waterfront building on Tomales Bay. The interior is outfitted with simple wooden furniture and large picture windows, while the bayside patio has additional tables made with rough-hewn redwood planks. The restaurant farms its own oysters and then prepares them six different ways, the most popular of which is grilled with garlic butter and house-made barbecue sauce. Other menu options include fish tacos with avocado-tomatillo sauce, and a Guinness-braised pulled pork sandwich with garlic aioli.
