Once the largest toy store in Tokyo, this century-old shop is still home to one of the most impressive toy collections in the city. Opened in 1899, Hakuhinkan is housed in a nine-story building in the Ginza district. Four floors are packed with both classic and contemporary toys, from stuffed animals and bobblehead dolls to anime merchandise, piggy banks, video games, and traditional games like mah-jongg. The fourth floor also has an interactive arcade and an eight-lane, 118-foot model racetrack with free slot car rentals. Above the store, the building contains a sushi bar, Japanese restaurant, and performing arts theater.
