One of the first artists to set up a public viewing space in Culver City, Gregg Fleishman’s studio displays a rotating body of work, all of it grounded in geometry and functionality. Items are organized into three main areas—structures, furniture, and vehicles. Structures are innovative shelter systems designed by the artist, who is also an architect. Furniture, consisting of tables, desks, and chairs, are simple silhouettes with fluid curves and geometric cutouts, all made from European birch plywood. Models and full-scale version of the artist's elaborately carved vehicles are made from wood and synthetic resins.
