Opened in 2007 on Rockland’s rapidly developing Main Street, this stylish women’s clothing boutique sticks out—in a good way—in the land of jeans and Crocs. Maine native Beth Bowley’s credentials include a degree from Parsons School of Design, time working with designer Perry Ellis, and creation of her own line of clothing, which has received coverage from many national fashion magazines. She divides her time between NYC and mid-coast Maine, where she, along with two partners (one of whom used to be a buyer for Anthropologie), curate the colorful shop with flirty items from Bowley’s own line—girly dresses, floral skirts, hot pants—as well as favorite pieces by Calypso, Moyna, and Sanctuary. Look for show-stopping handbags, jewelry, and shoes too.
Insider Tip: Before visiting, check to see if Bowley is holding one of her regular trunk shows, and time your shopping accordingly.
