Founded by Sara Parisotto and Hamid Samad, Commute Home sells original furniture and home accessories. Located in The Annex neighborhood, the shop has unique items ranging from filament bulb light fixtures to a plaster antique mirror. Furniture includes a coffe table made from reclaimed wood and steel and parson style tables. The people at Commute Home have lent their interior design services to places like Toronto restaurants Nyood, Quince, and Madras Pantry. In the back of the store, shoppers can see experimental projects on clothing, furniture, and accessories.
