This West Queen Anne shop is the retail storefront (and headquarters) of the sustainability-minded foodie E-tailer. It channels that familiar gourmet-shop vibe: wide-plank wood floors, stainless-steel shelves, and olive oil and balsamic sampling bar (plus additional taste stations for sea salt, jam, and honey). The product selection, however, goes beyond standard-issue, single-estate coffee beans or nicely wrapped European confectionaries. Suppliers tend to be small family farms and artisan producers, both local and global. This is the place to hit whenever your shopping list includes hard-to-find delicacies like water-grown, fresh wasabi rhizomes, or mosciame del tonno (Sardinian salt-cured tuna loin).
