Located just off the southern coast of England, this Brighton gallery is the showroom and workshop of ceramic artist Jo Davda, who specializes in handcrafted tableware. Large windows admit plenty of natural light into the warehouse-like studio, which has white brick walls and wooden shelves lined with simple, functional ceramics. Inspired by the subtle tones of the English coast and countryside, Davda’s work includes bowls, mugs, and platters available in colors like taupe, olive, charcoal, and heather. In addition to pre-made pieces, Davda also produces bespoke tableware sets for such clients as Ralph Lauren, Barneys New York, and Tate Galleries.
