Named after owner Ceri Smith’s great-grandfather, the Biondivino wine boutique is located on Green Street, squarely between the upscale Nob Hill and Russian Hill neighborhoods of San Francisco. Its dark marble façade is topped by a scalloped orange awning. Inside the airy white shop with orange accents are a chandelier that resembles frosted branches and row upon row of wall-mounted wine racks. Offering well over 400 wines from Italy’s 20 regions, Biondivino also carries French champagnes and Austrian, Georgian, Slovenian, and other wines from smaller wineries. Wine club memberships and winemaker tastings are also offered.
