Founded by former commercial pilot Tony Anderson in 2004, Miami Seaplane Tours offers four sightseeing excursions, each featuring a different view of South Florida. Up to three passengers at a time take to the skies in a Cessna 172 Seahawk, soaring over landmarks such as Cruise Ship Row, Ocean Drive's Art Deco hotels, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Biscayne Bay's stilted homes, and Star Island, lined with multimillion-dollar celebrity mansions. Anderson also flies low over the crystalline water, often affording glimpses of dolphins, manatees, sharks, and colorful coral formations. Tour durations range from 30 minutes to two hours.
