From late October through May, this planned community near the New Hampshire border, which dates to 1969, hosts downhill and cross-country skiing, showshoeing, snowboarding, and horse-drawn sleigh rides. Home buyers in the development gain access to the Quechee Club, a sprawling red, barn-like structure with an outdoor pool, a pair of Geoffrey Cornish golf courses, 12 tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, and the Grille Room Restaurant.
