The home field of the Boston Red Sox is a vivid throwback to the golden era of baseball. The park remains much the same as when it opened in 1912, with one of the country's only hand-operated scoreboards and a red-painted seat in the right-field bleachers marking Fenway's longest measurable homer (hit by Ted Williams in 1946). Guided tours of the park and its famous left-field wall (a.k.a. the “Green Monster”) run 9 a.m.–4 p.m. on game days ($12; $10 for kids under 15).

Tip: Since Fenway holds just 34,000, tickets ($12–$300) often sell out; if you're desperate, show up a few hours before the game and look for scalpers.
