Zion National Park

Head to the visitor center where you can get oriented. Board the shuttle that goes into the stunning sandstone rock canyons. You'll see natural wonders like the Grotto, Weeping Rock, and the Temple of Sinawava; from Sinawava, hikers should take the easy one-mile walk to the dramatic and twisting Narrows canyons. Keep an eye out for the 290 bird species, best appreciated on foot or horseback.
