More than 250 bird species—including hornbills, scarlet macaws, cassowaries, peacocks, and various birds of prey—are housed in more than 60 walk-in aviaries at this park. Different sections are dedicated to the various regions of the Indonesian archipelago, as well as Latin America and South Africa; and surrounding the feast of feathers and birdsong is in an immaculate haven of lawns, gardens, streams, and waterfalls. Natural showoffs, the birds are presented in special routines and feedings throughout the day. The park's restaurant is so-so, but the gift shop has some remarkably good gear. There's also a reptile park next door that's worth a gander.

Tip: Wear a hat for obvious reasons.
