Rich's

This limestone warehouse, a mid-century beauty that was once a steel-fan factory, blasted back to life in 1980 as a dance club, with owners promoting it as "the most technologically advanced and mind-blowing in the Southwest." One look at the gyrating bodies of the 20- and 30-somethings on Rich's wild dance floor convinces you that the place has lived up to the hype, keeping pace with the times and new nightclub technologies. Like any dance club worth its admission these days, the scene manages to be at once both numbingly loud and trance-inducing. As its advertisements promise, you really can "party till tomorrow" during the weekend after-hours bacchanals, when the club stays open until 6 a.m., playing techno, house, and hip-hop.

Tip: If you should overdo the cocktails, Rich's will provide a free taxicab to get you safely home.
