Housed in the restored 16th-century orangery of Villa Borghese, the Museo Carlo Bilotti features a 22-piece collection donated by the eponymous cosmetics magnate and art collector. Eighteen pieces are highly regarded examples of Surrealist Giorgio de Chirico’s work dating from the 1920’s to the 1970’s. Collection highlights also include a portrait of Bilotti by American painter Larry Rivers and a portrait of Bilotti's wife and daughter completed by Andy Warhol. Additionally, the museum has a temporary exhibit space that showcases the work of modern artists, with past shows by Jenny Saville, Damien Hirst, and Willem de Kooning.
