Plimoth Plantation

137 Warren Ave.
Plymouth , MA , United States
(508) 746-1622

Plimoth Plantation is a living museum that teaches visitors about Plymouth’s early English colonists and the indigenous Wampanoag people. The 17th-century English Village is a re-creation of the settlement built by the pilgrims after their arrival on The Mayflower in 1620. There, guests interact with role players who adopt the identities of historical figures from the colony. At the Wampanoag Homesite, Wampanaog and other Native People provide contemporary views on 17th-century Wampanaog history and culture. The Mayflower II, a replica of the original ship, is also part of the museum but is located three miles north of the plantation at the State Pier.
