Royal Caribbean cruising vessel. Alternating between Eastern and Western Caribbean destinations, the recently renovated (2011) vessel accommodates 3,600 passengers in well-appointed staterooms spanning 15 passenger decks. With a climb wall, water park, FlowRider surf simulator, and ice skating rink, Freedom of the Seas feels as much an upscale amusement park for grown-ups as a sailing ship. Guests can even play volleyball 120 feet in the air while doing twenty-two knots.
