This pioneering New York City-mini chain has greatly improved the quality of coffee available across the city. At each of their four locations, Grumpy offers a rotating selection of single-origin pour-overs (with detailed tasting notes) and a changing house espresso blend known as Heartbreaker. All four locations also serve local muffins, cookies and scones, but the Chelsea spot has the most room for sitting.
