This tiny music club doubles as a by-appointment-only art gallery and showcases some terrific talent to see and hear. Indie-rock bands used to bypass Phoenix in favor of Tucson, but proprietor Kimber Lanning (who also owns Stinkweeds record store) has worked to change that. She brought Arcade Fire—the popular Montreal-based alternative band that’s been profiled in the New York Times Magazine—to town before anyone had heard of the lyrical group now known for using a large number of instruments. “No Festival Required,” a film series, also happens here.
