Atelier des Chefs provides one of those must-do-while-in-Paris bucket list experiences: instruction in the preparation of authentic French cuisine. A half-hour to four hours in length, group classes are offered in red and white kitchens with stainless steel tables. Courses run the gamut, from cocktails and traditional dinners to macarons. Prepared dishes may be eaten on site—with accompanying wine—or carried home, and all ingredients and tools are sold on-site (recipes are emailed to each participant). Entertaining and affordable, the school's lessons accommodate a wide range of skill sets and are offered in both English and French.
