Entering the stylish Whisky Lounge is a little like stepping (one imagines) into a Havana lounge, circa 1952. It's not just the real Cuban cigars—you're in Canada, after all—being sold and smoked in the clubby back-room salon. There's also the hand-tiled tables; mid-century-style leather-backed banquettes and chairs; polished wooden pillars punctuating the room; and the general air of satisfaction surrounding the bar's fashionable patrons. The menu includes more than 150 kinds of whiskey, some aged more than 30 years. But if you don't like Scotch, fear not, because there are plenty of other choices: port, wine, grappa, beer, and maybe even a Cuba Libre, if you are so inclined.
