Its owners used to run a design agency in London, which is apparent the instant you step into the lobby. Bright contemporary prints and photographs take pride of place, but the welcome and the zinc-style bar are pure Provence—an ideal spot for indulging in a glass of the refreshing namesake aperitif. Pastis is only a 10-minute walk along the waterfront from the heart of the scene in the Old Port.
