Opened in 1985, this institution draws fans of cachaça, the potent sugarcane liquor that's the base for Rio's most famous export, the caipirinha. Sexy black and mirrored walls are lined with hundreds of bottles from dozens of producers, all under a ceiling covered with brightly colored streamers forming the Brazilian flag.
